So far in Week 6...
Blog commenting has been a big focus for us this term and is something we will continue to work on.
This week we have been using a template to help structure our comments. Here is one Nafisa has started. Her next step will be to edit and work with a buddy to make any other improvements.

We have also started working on some new animations. We will be planning these and working on them over the next week or two, so check back here to see how our comments improve and for our animation clips. Remember to leave us comments which are positive, thoughtful and helpful (this is what we are learning to do) and leave your own blog site link if you would like comments from us :)

Week 5!
Speech presentation day is upon us tomorrow
(Monday week 6)

Everyone in Room 4 has been working hard to write and memorise their speeches on a variety of topics. It was great to read this speech by Evynesense on the importance of learning.

Learning
                   "Kia Orana!
Talofa Lava!
and
Malo E leilei
Hey! What are you doing lying in bed and hogging the chips to yourself. You should get go to school and learn. And also did you know that if you learn your brain will start to grow. Here are some reasons on why you should learn.

It grows from learning. You should learn because it is fun and good for your  knowledge. But if you don't learn from a little age that you are now you will struggle when you grow up and your future won't be as good and you do not want that to happen right. Learning is very important to you because if you don't do maths how will you count your money or check the price for something you buy or if you don't do writing how will you write a interesting story and your name and  if you don't read how will you read a label on food or read the signs out on the road when you drive. That will be really dangerous.

But if you learn your life will be great when you grow up.  If you learn, learn and learn you could be a teacher a scientist and you could even take over John Keys place as being prime minister and take over the whole of New Zealand because of your knowledgeable brain. You could do a lot of things. But wouldn't it  be crazy if you go to college at the age of 12 and graduate at the age of 15!!! How crazy.

So these are reasons on why  should learn. And one day you could be the smartest person in the world. Thank you for listening to my speech."
