We have been focusing on procedural writing. Here are some instructions written by Kaya. She has practised using Screencastify by recording herself reading through her instructions.

  1. Talofa lava Kaya,

Thank you so much for making this screencastify. You spoke in a clear voice that was easy to understand. A quick tip for you: remember to read with expression because it can make your screencastify really exciting.

  2. Hey Kaya and Room 4,

Thanks for taking the plunge and exploring screencastify as a method of sharing. It can be very nerve-wracking to hear yourself in a recording AND show your learning. I can't wait to see other examples from your class and the comments on them if posted to the blog. James

  3. Kia ora Kaya,
I think you did a great job of reading your recipe. You had a good pace of reading it. Have you made the recipe as well?

  6. Hey Kaya! good job! I like the way you used a nice clear voice! Maybe next time you could add adverbs to your instructions to make it a bit more specific.
